Our Mission

At Lagemann College Consulting, LLC, Suzanne’s main goal is to help each student identify their own academic, personal, and social strengths, as well as their interests and strengths both in and outside the classroom.  This, in turn, helps the student connect their past and present experiences to their future.

Rather than focus on what a student “should” do in order to get into college, Suzanne’s advising helps the student self-reflect, which enables them ‘to own’ the college application process and select the best schools for themselves.

What students (and parents) will receive while working with Suzanne:

Suzanne meets each student where they are and tailors her approach to fit each unique family unit. Her support doesn’t end once the applications are submitted. She stays engaged and touches base with her students after they matriculate, fielding questions and offering support. As an educator for almost 30 years, she gives the family the assistance they need, when they need it and revels in each student’s success as though they were part of her own family.

I was very anxious and disorganized going into the college process. Ms. Lagemann’s experience in the field of higher education has been an invaluable asset to me in this journey. She understands all of the obstacles facing students in applying to and choosing the right college and has done a great deal to help me feel more prepared to apply to college.
